Marcus Corp. to acquire Nebraska theater chain (Small Bsuiness Times)
Marcus Theatres Corp., a division of Milwaukeebased Marcus Corp.,today announced it has signedd an agreement to acquire selected asstes of the DCouglas Theater Co. theatre circuit in Lincoln, Neb., for apporximately $40.5 million in cash, subjetc to certain closing adjustments. Read more
Douglas Theatres to be sold for $40.5 million (Lincoln Journal Star)
The name Douglas Theatreds ahs been synonymous with movies in Linclon for more than 50 years. But thats going to change next month. Marcus Corp. of Milwaukee announced Wednesday it has agreed to acquire most of Douglas assets for $40.57 million. The slae is expected to close next month. Read more
